****NO COACHES OR INSTRUCTORS WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE COMPETITION FLOOR, THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS****


All competitors must attend weigh in on November 14th, 2009 at Riverside Convention Center located at 3443 Orange Street, Riverside, CA 92501. Weigh in will be approximately right before your division is to compete. Children of all ages will be required to weigh in.

Each competitor must turn in an individual registration form along with entry fees. Make money orders payable to United Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. ABSOLUTELY NO PERSONAL CHECKS. NO EXCEPTIONS!!

If two competitors from the same school reach the finals in their belt and weight division, the decision is placed upon the instructor of that school whether the competitors will or will not fight.

Kids Illegal Techniques (Ages 4-12 yrs old)

Looking for With Gi Rules?

No bicep locks
No calf locks
No shoulder locks (ANY KIND)
No heel hooks
No frontal guillotine
No wrist locks
No cervical locks
No leg locks, knee locks and foot locks (ANY KIND)
No slamming from the guard
No neck cranks
No eye gouging, fish hooking, or hair pulling
No hands, knees or elbows in the face
No Ezekiel’s
No scissor takedowns
No triangles pulling the head
No small joint manipulations (toes, fingers, etc.)
No swearing or other obscene gestures


Kids Illegal Techniques (Ages 13-15 yrs old)

No wrist locks and bicep locks
No cervical locks (ANY KIND) and calf locks
No leg locks, knee locks and foot locks (ANY KIND)
No slamming from the guard
No neck cranks or heel hooks
No eye gouging, fish hooking, or hair pulling
No hands, knees or elbows in the face
No scissor takedowns
No Ezekiel’s

Points


Mount – 4 points
Back mount with hooks – 4 points
Passing the guard to side control – 3 points
Takedown – 2 points
Knee on stomach – 2 points
Sweeps – 2 points

Time Limits Kids


4-7 yrs – 2 minutes
8-11yrs – 3 minutes
12-15 yrs – 4 minutes
